One year!

Yesterday marked one year for me as a designer. I'm pretty sure that the first time I uploaded a quick page to Kathryn Balint's shop, that it was May 26th, 2007. It has been a wonderful year of learning the ins and outs of designing and online business. I am grateful for this past year, and am looking forward to this coming year.

I have interesting plans I want to tell you about for my one-year celebration, but I will tell you in a few days. I am still waiting for a couple of things to fall into place.

I would also love to share pictures with you, but that would mean getting them off of my memory card, which would mean moving things off of my hard drive to my EHD or a DVD, and I am so bad at putting that off!

5 things you do every morning

1. Spend some time reading the Bible or doing Bible Study (but I admit, I didn't yesterday.)

2. Write up my blog post if I haven't the night before (you'll be able to tell if I did - I usually have the ones I write the night before post at 3:00 AM)

3. Check my e-mail

4. On school days, I alternate between making lunches super early and making them right before we have to leave.

5. Check my Google Reader, and the new posts on a few forums. I use Mozilla Firefox and have several permatabs for this purpose. I found, though, if I un-permatab one that's very active and really easy for me to read too much (like DST), and make myself type in the address in the address bar, that I'm less likely to check it too many times a day. Saves lots of time!
