I read about the PaperBackSwap site on someone’s blog this weekend, and I have been busy listing many of my books on the service! It’s free to join, then, you list 10 books you’re willing to send out to another reader (for keeps!) You pay for postage to send to them, but the people who send you books pay for the postage on the books you request. Seems like a good deal to me! I’ve already had 4 books requested, and I think pretty soon, about 8 more books will be on their way out the door. (These are books that were “wishlisted” by other readers).
If you sign up under me (by clicking on the link below), and post your 10 books available for trade, I get a credit for a free book. You get two books just for signing up and listing your first 10 books!

I’m looking forward to lots of fun summer reading. ![]()
Two more months left of summer! I enjoy certain parts of it, but I still haven’t gotten into a routine. I work from home, so it is definitely an adjustment.
I’m in a bit of a shopping mood, so I looked at Sweet Shoppe designs for some clearance goodies. Here’s what I am considering:
I want some nice, kind of neutral type backgrounds for my layouts, and one of these should do quite nicely.
Hope that you have a super Monday!

Great info on the book site! I'll check it out later. I like the splat graph paper backgrounds!
Before kids the paperback swap would have been a great deal for me - now I don't seem to find the time to even read my work related stuff!
oh great papers!! love the painted one.
Oh, love the paperback swap idea. I need to see if I have a few I could list.
And thanks for the enabling at SSD! I keep going back and perusing... need to decide what I'm going to get all ready.
Okay, Juliana, I've wasted a whole day and it's all your fault. LOL Love the PB Swap site, and have spent a big chunk of the day exploring it. We have thousands of books (we literally had to rent storage for them), so this is perfect for us. Thanks for posting.
