For those wondering (yes, I’m sure there were so many of you! LOL!), I was able to be excused from jury duty. I’m pretty sure it was because of my scheduled trip. I’m glad, because it seems like it would have been a month-long trial.
If you are interested in entering the contest to win my portion of the Potato Bar, please see the post below. Don’t miss out – the deadline is 9pm EST tonight!
Onto the deals:
Designerdigitals is having a sale. You have to use a coupon code – see this post on their blog for more details.
I am thinking of picking this up:
E-scape and Scrap is having a sale on select Christmas items – up to 50% off! The Christmas Printables looks like a steal for only $3.25. (Be sure to scroll down to see the various previews.)
And, of course, the Potato Bar starts tomorrow. I’ll link you up then!
Here are more offers from beyond digi-land:
From one of my affiliates, MoneySavingMom:
Have you heard the big news? TODAY ONLY you can get an incredible ebook package from MoneySavingMom.com--over $100 worth of money-saving ebooks, homemaking helps, and encouragement for only $5.97! I can't believe she's offering such a great price and I'd highly recommend you run over here and check it out.
What makes this deal so good is that this ebook package includes the ecourse Supermarket Savings 101--this course alone is worth much more than $5.97 and will teach you how to drastically reduce your grocery bill. If high fuel and food costs are discouraging you and leaving you strapped for cash, you definitely need to buy this ecourse. You'll learn how to cut your grocery bill by up to 50% or more and have fun saving money at the same time! I especially think that this is a great book for those who are not familiar with bargain shopping/thrifty homemaking. As someone who is pretty familiar with these subjects, I still appreciated the encouragement, the menu plans, and all the bonus books that came with this $5.97 offer.
Go here to read more about this huge sale! Hurry, though, the price goes up tomorrow--get this money-saving ebook package at a ridiculously low price while you can!
On the same vein, I am totally a fan of The Grocery Game. I used to do the Game a couple of years ago, but got too busy. I started it again this week and it is super easy. It helps match coupons to sales while keeping track of the typical pattern of sales. I was able to do very well this week, and I think I even earned back a month’s worth of the subscription buying these we will need! (or eventually need) I chose to subscribe to 3 stores: CVS, Ralphs (a Krogers’ market), and Stater Brothers. I may or may not keep Stater Brothers – the deals were not that great – but I’ll keep an eye on it during my subscription period.
You can do a 4 week trial for $1, if you’ve never signed up before. Here’s the link: https://www.thegrocerygame.com/con__DollarTrial.cfm. My e-mail address (if you want to use me as a referral) is gordons4God@verizon.net.
I better go – I am working on something that many of you Christmas gift givers will be SO happy that I put in the Potato Bar!
